We are very privlidged to own an animal as nice as Boogie. He is great inside the house as well as in the field. He is the "class clown" and his antics will often make you laugh. He won a Qualifying in April 2017 at MidAtlantic Retriever Club's Spring Field Trial and will continue trials and hunt tests in the future. Boogie's ideal weight range is 58-63 pounds.
Josie has only a some formal training due to an injury as a young dog. She has a lot of drive and lots of go, but is also great in the house. She loves attention and is very people oriented. Her sire was a National Amateur Field Champion who was also an FC. Her dam has Open and Amateur placements and JAMS. Josie weighs 50-55 pounds.
This breeding blends quite a few really nice field lines with quite a number of Retriever Hall of Fame dogs. Josie has puppies from previous breedings that are pets, hunting dogs, and Junior Hunter with Senior Hunter passes that is owner trained. She has had light cream to fox red yellow puppies with different sires, Boogie has produced the whole spectrum as well. These puppies will have excellent potential for a wide variety of venues. These puppies will be high energy and will need plenty of exercise, especially during the puppy stages. Please understand that training must be continued after going home to produce a well rounded and obedient dog that is pleasant to be around.
Puppies will be microchipped and dew claws removed, dewormed at 2, 3, 4, 6 and 7.5 weeks and first shots.
